Hump Ridge Track

Hump Ridge Track

Rarakau Lodge is located right at the start of the Hump Ridge Track. Park your car at the carpark when you arrive and you'll have a place to rest before and after your trek.

The Hump Ridge Track is a stunning multi-day loop through native forest, along dramatic coastline and up to sub-alpine tussock tops with sweeping views across Te Waewae Bay and out to Stewart Island / Rakiura.

Start your adventure well rested and finish it in comfort — the lodge is the ideal base at either end of the trail.
