About Rarakau Lodge
Rarakau Lodge is Southland adventure accommodation right at the start and finish of the Hump Ridge Track, just south of Tuatapere on the edge of Fiordland. We offer a clean, well-maintained base for trampers, couples and families exploring New Zealand’s rugged south coast.
Choose from backpacker-style shared rooms, comfortable single and twin rooms, or our Deluxe Suite — or book the entire lodge for weddings, school camps, hiking groups and family gatherings.
